Before you start cleaning your jewelry at home, it's important to determine what material it is made from, as this will affect the cleaning process.
For gemstones and most beads: warm water in a bowl and a drop of dish soap. Use a soft bristle toothbrush and gently scrub. Work the bristles into the nooks and crannies as this is where you'll find a collection of sunscreen, lotion, and other things that can dull your sparkle. Rinse and dry with a microfibre cloth.
For pearls do not submerge in water as this could damage and break the thread they’re strung on. Just a little water and a microfiber cloth.
For silver and gold plated jewellery: swap the toothbrush for a sponge so it doesn’t cause the plating to erode away or be scratched.
For silver use a specially formulated polishing cloth to buff away tarnish. These are handmade in the UK and are designed to last, so they can be used again and again as long as they’re not washed.
Cleaning Coffee Pod Creations jewellery is simple. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals like bleach or chlorine
