FAQs
DELIVERY
How long will it take for my jewellery to arrive?
Once I receive your order, it will take me one or two days to create your piece before posting. All items are posted using Royal Mail. Please keep this timeframe in mind when placing your order.
ARE ITEMS HYPOALLERGENIC?
Whilst each piece has parts of an aluminum coffee pod (which is hypoallergenic), I do need to add extra parts e.g. earring hooks, clasps, chain etc.

Earring studs are made from 304 stainless steel. 304 grade stainless steel is safe, surgical grade and tarnish resistant metal. It's an excellent material for jewellery as it's low risk for allergic reactions. It's generally considered hypoallergenic for most people.

As each design is slightly different, check the individual product description before buying.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM DESIGNS?
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide this service right now.
OH NO! I HAVE LOST AN EARRING
Don't worry, I'm here to help. If you need a single earring replacement, just email me (coffeepodcreations@gmail.com) a photo of your remaining earring, and I'll provide you with some advice.
WHAT CAPSULES DO YOU USE?
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR CAPSULES FROM? DO YOU NEED MORE?
All my designs feature aluminium coffee pods. I am unable to use and upcycle plastic pods.
I am unable to use:
-
Nescafe Dolce Gusto Pods (or any Dolce Gusto compatible pods)
-
Lidl's Bellarom Ristretto Espresso Capsules
-
Alcafe Cappuccino Coffee Pods

Many other companies, like the ones listed below, offer a coffee pod recycling service.
-
Nespresso
-
L'Or
-
Costa Aluminium Pods
-
Tesco Finest Aluminum Pods
-
Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Aluminum Pods (although these can be emptied and recycled in your home recycling bin)

Podback is the most common scheme for both plastic and aluminum - I really recommend ordering a FREE bag and returning used pods to your local Collect+ Stores
I do not own or use a Coffee Pod Machine.
I collect coffee pods from people, who for various reasons, are unable to recycle them.

I now have quite a few 'suppliers' of used aluminum pods, and as I am just a small business (just me). I do not need any more.

I recommend using the Podback Recycling Service.
WHY UPCYCLE NOT RECYCLE?
While recycling is important for reducing waste, upcycling takes it a step further by transforming discarded items into something new and valuable.
Instead of using raw materials for jewellery making, upcycling allows me to get creative and give new life to single-use coffee pods, making items which are truly unique and innovative.
